The city of Tulum received in ancient Mayan name de Zamá (meaning in Maya dawn ) and the current ,Tulum ( which means wall in Mayan ), which seems to have been used to refer to the city when it was in ruins . For the many records in murals and other works found in the buildings of the city, it is that Tulum was an important center of worship for the so-called " descending god "
